OTIMISMO POR INFLUÊNCIA
(optimism by influence)
year: 2024
medium: acrylic on MDF
technique: wood carving and painting
dimensions: 4 pieces = 80cm x 30cm
Work selected for the 31st edition of MAJ (Annual Youth Exhibition).
OPTIMISM BY INFLUENCE is a piece composed of four wooden structures intentionally left unfinished. It stems from the idea that time is limited, unbendable, and always leaves traces. Instead of creating a perfectly finished piece, I chose to make four visibly incomplete ones, ironically reflecting on the human urge to “bend time.”

SANTO GRAU
(Sacred Tilt)
year: 2023
technique: wood carving and painting
dimensions: 42cm x 20cm
Santo Grau merges religious imagery with the culture of the Brazilian outskirts, turning the act of popping a wheelie into a near-sacred gesture. By bringing together devotion and street life, the work reflects on how practices seen as risky can embody cultural value, identity, and pride.
